The perfect place to combine safari and rest.

The Olengoti Eco Safari Camp & Cottages are set along the banks of the Talek river placing us in the front seat in one of the most dramatic and exclusive natural shows in the world, “The Great Migration”.Every year, between May and June the heavy rains come and more than 1.5 million wild animals in Tanzania begin the annual migration to reach their sought after final destination, crossing the banks of the Mara River in Kenya.

Luxury Tents

Eleven tents are set under canvas and exquisitely decorated reflecting the old style of first safaris. To create this authentic atmosphere, we integrate elements from Masai culture such as carpets, handmade furniture crafted by local artisans mixed with rich colours and sumptuous fabrics.

All tents are equipped with two comfortable queen beds covered by soft mohair blankets, duvet, & 100% percale & cotton sheets. Each tent has en-suite bathroom with shower and a private veranda decorated with two rawhide leather safari chairs.

All energy sources are provided by solar energy in line with our eco-tourism policy.

 Eco Cottages

This area, independent of the safari camp, is made up of six spacious eco cottages with direct views of the Talek River in Masai Mara.

The Olengoti Eco eco cottages, powered by solar energy, are formed by a large living area and bedroom, en-suite bathroom and outdoor terrace that allows you to enjoy the starry kenyan nights.

In its interior, the warmth has been achieved thanks to the reddish tone of the adobe of the walls made with “tapial”. Inside the wood has a great weight in the design as it gives shape to the structure and floors of the cottages. Masks, figures and leather armchairs, unique pieces made by local craftsmen, coexist with cow hide rugs and palm baskets that take the traveller to a unique safari atmosphere.
